Foundation for People with Epilepsy(FPE) conducted an official visit to Kuhenza for the Children this November, as part of their annual review and awarded a Certificate of Partnership Recognition.Dr Chengo ,an Epileptologist serving the entire Kilifi County acknowledged the impact of Kuhenza’s advocacy and medical care support.
“My expertise without your support is nothing,” He noted.”Kuhenza is really making a difference to the children with disabilities and their families”He continued.
Kuhenza has been instrumental in demystifying Epilepsy,challenging the myths- that it is caused by evil spirits and demons.
This recognition highlights the strength of collaboration between medical experts and community organizations in improving healthcare,reducing stigma and supporting the vulnerable groups in the society
