Youths’ Workshop

Most of the beliefs that communities and families uphold concerning disabilities are passed to the children hence affecting the way they perceive people with disabilities. When we facilitate discussions around disability, the children can develop a compassionate and  inclusive response to disability tailored  to their communities’ unique needs.

The Youth disability outreach and inclusion workshops were developed to educate and empower youth with and without disabilities in relation to disability and create mutual understanding and acceptance.

The results from these workshops are long lasting. They change the perception that these youth  have towards disability and they spread a message  that people with disabilities  are also worthy of love, care, inclusion and that they are valuable members of the society.
